In honour of the first Prime Minister- Jawahar Lal Nehru, India celebrates Children\u2019s Day on the 14th of November. He had great affection for children and believed that they were the future. He is famous for saying, “Children\u00a0are like buds in a garden and should be carefully and lovingly nurtured, as they are the future of the nation and the citizens of tomorrow.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On this day, children across the country participate in fun competitions, play fun games and celebrate the day with fun treats. Here are a few ways you can make this Children’s Day more unique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Organize a fun outing- take your kiddos to the zoo or an amusement park and turn it into a day of family recreation. Visit a museum or spend a day doing an architectural tour of your city. Want to make field trips more exciting? Include underprivileged children and end the trip with a fun-filled picnic!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
