Last year I was rejected by so many organisations… they liked everything but they had their doubts about my stability. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I was looking for work where I could find myself, where I could be satisfied with my work and see my efforts materialise. I have always followed my instincts. And I did what I believe in; Compromising and negotiating with my principles was something I never did.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I have made some mistakes and I learnt from them. And I promise not to repeat them. After seeing so many rejections, I got depressed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
One day I got a call from Wishes and Blessings for volunteering opportunities. I joined them as a volunteer. I was overwhelmed with my experience. Then I applied for an internship, I didn\u2019t apply for a full-time position because back then I was not confident enough. After seeing my performance they gave me a full-time opportunity. Again I took my time but finally accepted the opportunity.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Every day at Wishes and Blessings is like a celebration of life. I have not only completed one year at the organization but I have also found my lost soul. I found my energy!. Earlier I used to think- kya mejn kabhi ek saal kahi kaam kr paongi? Kya mujhe kabhi woh milega jo main karna chahti hun?\u00a0

Today I got not only a one-year completion but a lot more which I can\u2019t even explain. I got it because I never added myself in any rat race I have created my own story and experience. People used to say you are a loser, fake , and so much more… I never replied. I just cried because I always knew whenever we all will get something we always wanted to do, we can not only stay there for one year we can be there forever \u267e
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The right timing and decisions can take you anywhere. Today I have completed one year and I am not answerable to anyone. I have done this because I got the best opportunity and I worked with the best team where people can see themselves as\u00a0better people. I am working as a Volunteer Coordinator where I can see the change and be the change with my youth army. I am working with the best organisation where everyone believes to uplift everyone. Working on the ground makes me more humble and grounded and grateful. I learn something everyday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
My only message for everyone is- let\u2019s inspire and uplift each other, transcending all differences. This is the basis of changing society at the most fundamental level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Don\u2019t run on society\u2019s judgements and create your own experience \ud83e\udd70

Be your saviour and sunshine, don\u2019t be a damsel in distress.
