Launched in 2015, the Wishes and Blessings Daily Meals Programme (DMP) is a sustained initiative to combat hunger and malnutrition among the underprivileged. We provide hot, nutritious meals to beneficiaries across shelters, day-care centres and community locations while delivering ration kits to remote areas where cooked meals cannot be served. DMP aligns with SDG 2: Zero Hunger and aims to ensure that no individual goes to bed hungry.
DMP serves beneficiaries across all ages and communities, including children, adults, elderly, tribal groups and persons with disabilities. Where kitchen routes are inaccessible, we deliver ration kits containing staples sufficient for a family of four for two weeks. Crucially, DMP provides three meals a day and ration kits designed to enable beneficiaries to prepare three meals daily.
Feeding one person for 30 days costs just ₹1,100. Individuals in shelters receive three meals a day, while families in jhuggis, slums and villages receive biweekly ration kits.
Your support helps reduce hungerdriven vulnerabilities and enables beneficiaries to focus on education, work and building secure futures. By contributing, you also help advance SDG 2: Zero Hunger. All donations are eligible for 80G tax exemption, and receipts are issued within seven working days.
Donors can be added to a silent WhatsApp group for regular execution updates and media.
Periodic Open Days and digital sessions let donors meet beneficiaries and witness distributions.

Before I joined the centre, I often came to school hungry and found it hard to focus. I felt tired all the time. After I started receiving my daily meal, everything changed. I have more energy now, I understand my lessons better, and I actually enjoy studying. I even get to try different kinds of food — some I had never tasted before.

The last year has been extremely difficult for us as a family. My husband passed away. With no money, how do we get clothes, food, shelter… how can I bring up my children properly? The monsoon has worsened our problems. The rain has ruined whatever home we could make from tarpaulin and wood boards. In all this darkness, the ration kits we have been receiving have been a ray of hope, a blessing. Hunger would have pushed us to beg… with the kits, we have been assured a dignity of life!
