“Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime”
Maimonides

Skill and knowledge are the driving forces for personal, financial and community development. They also empower individuals, improve their social acceptance and help find lucrative employment opportunities. Wishes and Blessings aims to develop each individual’s talent and physical abilities to his/her fullest potential. Our objective is to provide employable skills to all those we work with, to make them self-reliant. Our projects also help differently-abled people in reducing their vulnerability and dependence on external assistance. In the long run, this helps to empower them and live a life with dignity. We strongly believe that there is no gift bigger than the gift of knowledge, and if that knowledge helps a person earn a living, there is nothing better than that. We aim to spread long-lasting smiles, by the following projects.

A significant section of our society is illiterate and thus unemployed. We aim to provide vocational training and skills to such people to enhance their employment prospects and make them financially independent. We give more emphasis to differently-abled people under this project so as to ensure a dignified life for them. Presently we are providing training for sewing, plumbering and recycling plastic bottles. We also sponsor vocational training for our children living in orphanages so as to equip them for a brighter future.
We strongly believe that it is vital for natural talent to be identified at a young age, so that it can be honed and made into a successful career. We thus organise hobby classes in our shelter homes and orphanages and provide trained professionals to teach and train our children. These trainers not only teach our children but also help us identify hidden talent and passions. Further, understanding the importance of technology, we provide students with computers and computer training instructors at our homes. We strive to expose our children to a world of opportunities and are always willing to go the extra mile for them.
