Celebrating 1 Year of Squad for Change!

As Squad for Change, the Wishes and Blessings volunteering wing completes 1 year, a few volunteers share their thoughts and experiences while being part of this exciting and engaging volunteering community!

How did you get to know about Squad for Change and why did you decide to join it?

I get to know through social media, I decided to join since it provides flexible opportunities. Even though I’m from Bangalore, I could still become a part of Squad for Change through virtual volunteering, online tasks and workshops.
– Arun K J, Bangalore

I was searching on the internet for some NGOs where I could bring about some betterment and work for society… At that time I found out about Wishes and Blessings. After going through their work, I applied to volunteer without wasting a minute!

How has Squad for Change helped you build your personality and boost your growth?

SFC has definitely taught not just me but also others as well about how to work in a team. To know others opinions, implementation and working with everyone and I’ll hold this lesson forever with me.

A new theme every month, with exciting workshops and activities corresponding to it makes me look forward to what’s lined up next by the team.

The thing I have enjoyed the most, except obviously helping other people is that SFC provides a variety of different tasks so that everyone can comfortably do tasks of their own liking.

– Sherin, Chennai

How would you describe SFC to a stranger?

A must join platform or organisation which gives you belongingness to society. A great place to bring good changes in society and within us as well!
– Anushka, Delhi

It is this really amazing NGO where they take your advice and ideas instead of just giving you tasks. You can work at your speed and time and you have the most supportive and flexible people in this organisation
