Volunteering is not only good for your physical health but keeps you mentally fit as well. Regular interaction with others develops a solid support system, and the social contact aspect of helping others can have profound effects on your overall psychological well-being. Volunteering not only provides you with a feel-good factor and contentment of doing something good for others but also gives you a sense of purpose. It adds new meaning and perspective to your life and adds lots of values, memories and learning. Volunteering is indeed an enriching experience of life; everyone should have this in life.
Squad For Change (SFC), the volunteering wing of a Delhi-based NGO, Wishes and Blessings is one of the best platforms that provide non-conventional volunteering opportunities to all its volunteers. The wing has volunteers coming in from all walks of life, and age brackets. With a motto to first seek for a change within oneself, SFC conducts workshops and interactive sessions for all its volunteers. SFC is further classified into two categories; in the first category, we focus on self-introspection along with steady self-growth.
