World Day of Kindness 2022- History, Significance & More

World Day of Kindness is celebrated on November13th each year. The idea behind this event is that we should all try to be kinder to other people in our lives.

Every morning we wake up thinking that today is the day we make a difference and then the thought subsides with the weight of our daily commitments. Extending kindness and dedication isn’t something easy. We all lead busy lives, juggling between work, family and friends with no time at all for ourselves. However, that doesn’t mean we don’t want to give back to the society or involve in acts of kindness.

An innate drive to be humane and compassionate towards others is simple and fulfilling. With a small gesture of asking the waiter about their day, holding the elevator for that rushing person, helping an old man carry his grocery to the car, supporting a local business, petting stray animals, offering a listening ear to somebody, helping an underprivileged person, making somebody smile, one can make a difference by all such small but significant acts.

The smallest of deed and the biggest of help of one’s capacity can make the world a brighter and a better place for everybody. Let’s not let the lack of time take away from the calls of our big heart this World Day of Kindness 2022!
