We are on a mission to create a strong and dedicated army, willing to spread awareness and fight for the injustices executed against elders in our society! Join us in the #WipeTheirTearsLiftTheirLives campaign and help us ensure a safer and happier future for our ammas and uncles. Watch the videos below to catch a glimpse of the traumatic incidents our elders have to go through…

How can you participate?

The steps are simple- all you have to do is pose with a white handkerchief and upload the photo on social media. Don’t forget to tag us (@wishesandblessings) and use the hashtag #wipetheirtearslifttheirlives . Tag and invite your friends to join you in the campaign. Each post matters!

Why the white handkerchief?

White represents safety, sanctuary and peace. We are using the white handkerchief as a symbol of our pledge- our promise of providing a blanket of security to all elders who have gone through horrible situations of abuse, neglect and abandonment.

Join us in our efforts to spread awareness and bring change in society! Your pose can help make someone else pause and think about how they can help our elders.

What have we done for abandoned elders in the past?

Wishes and Blessings set up its first old age home for abandoned elderly in April 2018. Mann ka Tilak was set up for all those who had been callously thrown out of their homes by their own kith and kin. All facilities are provided completely free of cost to ensure that they can live their last few stages with complete dignity and respect. You can read more about Mann ka Tilak here and here.
